It is, of course, that time of year, and I'm enjoying a basic smattering of my favorite Halloween, seasonal musical accompaniments.
"Earth AD" is a perfect 21 minutes and 9 secs of music. I maintain that a perfect metal album is 45 minutes or less, and a perfect punk album is under 30.
I've also constructed, in my mind, an obsessive compulsive, red-threaded cork board of connections as to why this album is more influential to death metal, and particularly black metal, then any of the metal dorks want to admit.
